An 8 week basic knitting course is starting on Monday 16th April 6-8pm @ Merley House, Merley House Lane, Wimborne. You will learn about knitting needles, yarn, tension and casting on. Concentrating on knit and purl stitches creating small samples of garter & stocking stitch, a variety of ribs, ridges, and puffball patterns.
You will also get the opportunity to introduce new yarns, increase and decrease, correcting mistakes, i.e. dropped stitches and knittting the wrong stitch.
We will then look at creating wrist warmers and a slouchy beret.
